that when you post on a blog it doesn’t go top to bottom? It is bottom to top. It is driving me crazy.

So here is another mistake not to make…. that I obviously am making…. know how to work a blog!
I know how to run a website, build an online store, create a website, adding pages, links, do html, but blog….hah…..having a very hard time which is why these posts are such a mess.

I’ve been writing on here as I think of things, getting my thoughts together, not realizing I didn’t have any idea how to switch the posts around, or even if you can.

Anyways, I have spent hours reviewing my bookmarks and getting rid of alot of them. Organizing what I have so that I can list the resources and websites I find most helpful on another page for you to view and gather what information you can.

For now, Some of the things I can suggest that you do do if you are serious about building a business are the following:

1- Purchase a domain name. And purchase only one to start. I had so many ideas floating around in my head months ago that I purchased multiple domains and guess what? They are still just names. No sites to go with them. I thought all my ideas for different sites would just work themselves out but that is impossible. *If you know what type of business you want to start, come up with a name that reflects that, if you are unsure, a more generic name that can be used for any type of site is better.
RULE ONE-ONE THING AT A TIME.

2- Get a Host. I had previously written about a couple of hosting companies web hosts that are highly recomended. One I use myself. I have reviewed many many webhosts, and I actually do use a couple of others, but the ones listed here would be the top choices for anyone starting out. They offer the most for the money. The templates alone are worth more than the monthly hosting and the customer service can’t be beat!
