Blogging – What’s it all about?

Blogging is one of the most popular Internet-related phenomenon that has incited the curiosity of millions of people all over the world; it represents a great opportunity for those who create blogs and for those who use them. Very often qualified as the trend of keeping personal diaries online, blogging is far more complex owing to the fact that every web log carries the touch of the owner’s imagination, interest and wit. The range of topics blogs deal with is incredibly wide: from politics and economics to sky diving and snorkeling. The next very important aspect after blog content is actually the interactive format of the pages that allows users to take action on the site.

Part of the history of blogging includes the very first attempts to run an account of one’s personal life, and many of the blog owners liked to call themselves journalists or diarists. In the early days of blogging around the mid-90s, people enjoyed the experience of belonging to the online community that went beyond all sorts of boundaries. This was the time when the very first combination of text, pictures and videos were included in a blog, as the most accurate way of reflecting one’s life. Sometimes, bloggers transmitted live images with the help of various portable devices, creating the so-called semi-automated blogging.

It’s often a difficult decision for any new blogger or site owner…

Which web host do you use?

There’s thousands of them online… lots of good ones but also lots of bad ones.

One host I recommend is Hostazar

Here’s why:

-          Great customer support

-          Two click install for WordPress which saves any blogger time

-          Amazing value for money and even a 30 day money back guarantee

-          Environmentally friendly… Their servers are powered by wind turbines meaning no damage to our planet

Blog Traffic – Web 2.0 traffic tactics

The blogging phenomenon perfectly integrates in the second generation of web services know as Web 2.0 since this is the most convenient platform for all Internet moves. What is there for bloggers with Web 2.0? First of all, the whole aim of the new web-technology is to facilitate collaboration and sharing between users, on the one hand, and increase the usage rate on the other hand. The next legitimate question that rises here touches on the best ways to attract traffic in the conditions of the transition to blogs that are sources of highly functional content.

First and foremost, we need to say here that with blogs web information is no longer centralized in terms of authority, not to mention that the freedom to use and re-use material is limitless. From a certain point of view blogs become a real market, in which content is the transaction environment. Hence, Web 2.0 traffic tactics mainly gravitate around the optimization of blog articles for advanced search on the search engines. Though it may be very tempting, don’t aim too high from the very beginning, it is almost impossible to get large numbers of visitors form the first blogging days.

Super Affiliate Success Story

I have viewed and gone through these videos. The amount of information and the step by step tools given in these videos are absolutely amazing. Again, I am a strong follower of Liz Tomey. If you visit 5 Day Cash Machine you can view video proof of her no nonsense approach, her down to earth-ness, and her willingness to help and give detailed instructions. She also shares how she helped one of her neighbors.

We all love to hear about people being successful, and I want you to take the time to read this story because you can learn a lot from it.

Internet marketing expert Liz Tomey is known as a “softy”. She has a real commitment to people, and when she found one of her close friends in need, she came to the rescue, and turned a total newbie into an “insane affiliate marketing machine”.

another great course from Liz Tomey:

There are affiliate marketers that have been struggling for a long time and don’t know how to get out of the rut. They have been left out of the lucrative method that other affiliates are using that is considered the fastest way to make money.

For a while, videos have dominated the internet marketing airwaves. At first, only the creators of the videos were the ones that were raking in the dough. If you were an affiliate you could not use them to make money. However, some video creators got wise and decided to share the wealth.

Liz Tomey

I am a big fan of Liz Tomey. I have followed her blog(s) for awhile now and I can tell you she is without a doubt one of the best places to go for a “newbie” to learn the “ins” of starting an online affiliate and/or niche business.

Every website I visit, and again, it has been hundreds (mistake #1), gives you links to download partial articles, partial reports, partial everything.

Santa Letters

For The Holidays!

All of us can remember a time, maybe not too long ago, when just the mere thought that Santa Claus could exist created a gut wrenching level of excitement impossible to duplicate.

Can you remember what it’s like to not be able to sleep just thinking about what Santa Claus was going to leave under your Christmas tree? If not, just ask your children or grandchildren…because they know.

Gift Ideas

I will be moving my gift ideas to another website but linking from here. As you can tell I do love crafty things and get carried away with it. I decorate cakes, make fun little gift giving packages so things are unique, anything to do with crafts, I try. Baby Showers, Weddings, favors, cards, anything, I’ve done it all.

I have a great book I downloaded that I wanted to share. It shows some great ways to create “edible” gifts. With this you can also come up with your own creative ideas on ways to give gifts such as the tickets I recently gave with the cookies (although I came up with that myself), or perhaps something in the book will catch your eye and give inspiration on a gift for someone, or an addition to a gift for someone. Or even a centerpiece for a party, a hostess gift, anything.

It does offer the option of doing this for fun or your own business. Me, I do it for fun. I do not have my own business of creating these for people. I have made many cakes for others, blankets, favors, etc. but not as a business. I just did it …..well…..just because..lol. But yes, you can absolutely create a “mini biz” doing this. Possiblities are always endless in anything.

Candy Boquet Book

Candy Boquet Book

233 page step-by-step Guide “How to Make Candy Bouquets for Fun and Profit”

The book is about Candy Boquets, but you can alter anything and make it your own. (like I did with the cookies in the post below.) Here is a great idea from the book

Cookie Vase Gift

My Football Ticket Gift Idea

My cookie vase

Another quick idea I wanted to share while I thought of it then back to the original reason for my blog.

I recently made this vase for the man I am seeing.. it was quick and easy and a unique way to give him tickets to see his favorite college football team. I didn’t want to just put them in a card so instead I made little football player cookies. I then decorated them with cookie icing in the colors of the football players uniforms. Added lollipop sticks, pebbles in the vase, some ribbon (couldn’t find red and white), and here it is. A quick cute way to give the tickets-plus he got to eat the cookies!
